This review is based on four visits to Sturbridge Seafood. Every visit is started with an adult drink and they offer a very wide beer list and moderate wine list by the glass. The raw oyster bar is a must and they are typically serving at least four varieties. I have eaten the fish fry, crab cakes, fish sandwich, shrimp tacos, and clam chowder during my visits. The food is always fresh and the breaded items are flaky flavorful and not greasy.

During epidemic period, I’m glad they do provide both dine-in and eat outside service. We are glad that we made reservation in advance as it got so busy around dinner time and the outside table were even full. Food we ordered (chowder, fish taco, cod, paella, calamari) are all soooo amazing and with a lot of volume, and the waitstaff are all friendly and nice. Definitely worth going back again！

This place is awesome. Chowder fries are a must and the summer seasonal drinks were delish. The fish and chips were more bread than fish but the scallops,fries, service, and drinks did more than make up for it. The desert menu is smaller in options but we enjoyed the bread pudding a great deal. Heads up serving sizes are on the bigger side (we were pleased)! One of the best in the area when it comes to decor, service, and taste. We would 100% go back and plan to!

I was so happy with not only our food tonight but our waitress Carly was absolutely wonderful! She is definitely the reason we will be returning! Her personality, kindness, and great attitude stood out like no other! The food was outstanding tonight! My partner loved the oysters . My steak had great flavor and the mashed potatoes were excellent. Great night! Thank you Carly we will be back! Hopefully we get you again!

What a nice surprise! Great food, big portions, reasonable prices, great staff! My friend had the clam chowder to start and enjoyed it very much, fish and chips followed, also a big hit! I’m a vegetarian so no seafood for me but the chop salad was delicious, added on an order of grilled asparagus and it wound up being one of the best meals that I’ve ever had! I definitely recommend eating here, you won’t be disappointed!

We joined many others in trying this new seafood restaurant. I had the fried shrimp and it was lightly breaded and succulent. The others had the Bib and Butter combo which is a traditional New England dish. They choose the lobster along with four other types of seafood and polished it all off. Fresh and perfectly prepared! Much better than the Legal Seafood we had on Boston! Don’t miss it!
